House PEAK is a home designed by Marjatta for herself and her family. The house boldly takes CLT structures to the extreme, showcasing a cantilevered main floor that “peeks” over a rocky ridge, opening up views of the fields of Lohja, Finland. The architectural concept combines traditional barn typology with modern and ecological design.
This bold design was executed by architect Martin Lukasczyk.

Otherwise was involved in the project, creating the lighting and automation plans. A completely new light fixture model was designed for the site. Since the eaves of the house were relatively low, we decided to create a very unusual fixture, the “hanging spots.”
In the lighting design, we aimed to respect the architecture of the house and bring the lights in an anformalist manner, continuing a line from the exterior through the house.
